Spanish packaging design – Eau de Espana
Posted by rod - 11.12.2012Independent graphic design studio Tatabi created the lovely Spanish packaging design for “Eau de Espana” The producers created two fragrances one for him and one for her, which consumers differentiate by the illustration on the packaging. For him there is a illustration of a señor squirting perfume onto him, and for her there is a señorita, each wearing a typical Spanish outfit. The rest of the design was kept very simple.
Tatabi mentions that Eau de Espana was a happy packaging and postcard project. “50ml of Spain in a bottle with san exclusive fragrance. Blend Happiness, sun and a dash of colour to get Spain!”

Málaga Conarte wine label
Posted by rod - 06.09.2012A selection of the finest Malaga, Spain wines brought together 10 bodegas and 10 painters from all over the province in order to promote them in Germany, United States, UK, Russia and Japan.
The top section of the labels is in the shape of an artist’s palette, and in addition to the information on each type of wine, each label depicts a painting by the artist associated with each of the ten bodegas.
To hold the entire collection, we chose a case which is also reminiscent of the world of artists and art. This case presents a fine leather finish giving a touch of class overall, in keeping with the collection of wines.

Spanish Orange Juice packaging
Posted by rod - 17.08.2012London design agency P&W recently design a new Spanish orange juice packaging concept for Tesco.
“The design reflects the origin of the oranges whilst keeping it light hearted and distinctive from the array of other orange juices in the fixture – the idea of the Matador was used to create an iconic symbol – integrating the photographic orange within the illustrations for a sense of fun and still differentiating between the smooth and with bits orange juice varieties.”

Redesigning traditional Spanish wineskins
Posted by rod - 14.12.2011Wineskin or also called Bota is a traditional Spanish leather pouch which is used to carry wine and other liquid in it. Jesus Blasco’s wineskins have been around for more than five generations and is still a family run business. The first Julián Blasco Bota bag dates back as far as 1899 in Spain. Don Julián Blasco became the pioneer craftsman of his time. Now more than a century later the family run business is lead by Jesús Blasco who updated the design with nine brightly coloured botas as well as a collection of custom art botas (typically botas are tan or black).
