Ayman Ramadan designed the visual appearance including posters, stickers, invitations, t-shirts and koshary cups for his exhibition at the Townhouse Gallery in Cairo, Egypt and the New Museum in New York. For the identity Ayman used the prototype typeface of Talib™ OldSyle. At the exhibition international politicians ate Koshary – a very rich and heavy traditional Egyptian meal. Eps51
Ankh Symbol
The new identity of Egypt was developed by JWT Cairo. Their aim was to establish Egypt as a country that has more to offer than pyramids. Personally the logo is alright but I think the use of watercolors has been over done in destination logos. I do like the little detail with the “t” which represents the Ankh Symbol.
