Yakuza tattoo furniture

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

I would love to have that table in my living room. “Designed by Reddish they treated this interior project as if it was a living body, receiving its character from a unique tattoo printed on its surface. The wood texture acts as skin, becoming a platform for expressing a strong cultural and personal identity. The digital printing technology enables to easily treat each table individually, making them unique – just like people.” The tattoo is inspired by the Yakuza tattoo’s, which are a traditional organized crime syndicates in Japan.

Love these ad’s for Shun and Italian-Asian restaurant. If you look closely the first ad incorporates the famous Italian Vespa and the background reveals a Milanese scenery which at first glance looks Asian.

In the second ad a  typical Milanese streetcar passes by whilst 3 Asian’s  play soccer in a classical colonnaded courtyard. created by Advertising Agency: Grey, Milan, Italy via eternallycool
