24 hours in Jakarta, Indonesia illustrations by Patrick Hruby

If you had 24 hours in Jakarta, Indonesia what would you do? The Indonesian capital is full of colour and life and has plenty of sights to see and experience. With a population of over 10 million people and just as many taxis, cars, busses and bajaj the metropolis can be quite overwhelming, so what would you do? Qatar Airway’s inflight magazine Orxy has explored the city in their April issue, giving you an action-packed itinerary. Illustrator Patrick Hruby who you may know from some of CreativeRoots’s previous posts such as 24 hours in Tokyo and 24 hours in Nairobi has also created the Jakarta illustration. He included some of Jakarta’s main attractions, such as the boats of the old port of Sunda Kelapa, Indonesia’s famous shadow puppets and the cities National Monument (Monas), just to mention a few.

Finished here? Then have a look at these.
