Over the period of this year we have featured a few projects that have adopted the Chinese zodiac, Year of the dragon concept. One of them was the Nike air Jordan packaging design, which is worth a look at. It seams like more and more foreign consumer brands such as Nike or in this case Johnnie Walker try to capture the imagination of the Chinese people and adapt to their culture and history.

British Illustrator Chris Martin in partnership with LOVE created these limited edition Johnnie Walker packaging design to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Dragon. Each label (Red, Gold and Black) received its own limited edition box with the beautiful Chinese inspired illustration on.

This is not the first attempt for Johnnie Walker to inspired and adapt to the Chinese culture and people to buy their limited edition whisky’s. Last year the company created a limited edition series of Chinese inspired porcelain bottles which were also crated by Chris Marin and LOVE.

Finished here? Then have a look at these.
