Philippine Peso Baybayin

The Philippine Peso is quite an insight into Philippine culture, history, flora and fauna, and design. You can read about each banknote above. Personally I really like the 200 Peso bill which features the Bohol Chocolate Hills and the Tarsier monkey. In addition I really like that each bill features the ancient Philippine script called Baybayin in the right bottom corner security feature.

Which banknote design do you like best?

Finished here? Then have a look at these.

I feel “Mindanao” is not part of the Philippines.. :( It’s unfair.
Mindanao=Lumads & Bangsamoro & Settlers. 3-in-1 :)

@Rose, eh bakit tagalog ang salita mo?

Is there a possibility of 1000 peso bill having no seal in front?

bakit president of the philippines ang nasa philippine bills while heroes naman sa coins??? any explanation???

Why is this written half in English and half in Tagalog. I am fed up with people writing in such a stupid, ill mannered way.Use one language only.

If you want the world to read your comments, then, for goodness sake…….write them in English. English is the FIRST language, all over the world. The language of the Philippines in NOT. If YOU WANT READERS TO READ YOUR COMMENTS, THEN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS THE NAME OF THE GAME.

may tanong ako please pasagot kaagad .. Assignment ehh ..

Hello Sister @ Keith R. Sauerwald, I constructed this sentence in English just for you to be gleeful. Actually @rose, the reverse side of the new 1000 peso banknote is representing the Mindanao. It’s design is from Mindanao, containing the Tubbataha Reefs that is located at the SULU SEA. Also, the reverse side also contains a SOUTH SEA PEARL, found in the SULU SEA. Moreover, the reverse side of the 1000 peso banknote displays a design of the MIndanao’s T’nalak or Ikat.

If you are still uncontented @rose, the old 1000 peso banknote’s reverse side has a small detail of the LANGGAL, the traditional worhshipping House of the MOROS.

Hope you liked the info @rose :D And hope you loved my grammar @Keith Sauerwald

Why is it that only dead persons are featuref in the philippine currency? Any law passed as basis to that practice?
