In January 2011 Aslan and Sharon Kilinger from the Maestro Collective went to Cuba and captured this great country troughthe lenses of their camera’s. Back in the studiowe mixed the photography with graphic design,illustrations, oilpaint, paper scans etc resultingin fantastic colourful artworks. Art that trulybreaths the life and mood of Cuba.

These are really cool. I like how there is a lot of action in each collage–energy and life–all swirling around people who are in very common, every day poses.
