China has a long history of tea culture which shines with Zen wisdom. The logo which Chinese design agency Dongdao designed for HOI JIT looks like a floating leaf on which lines of water are reflected on. The leaf and water marks reflect the beauty and core value of tea culture and Zen philosophy: bitterness, quietness, ordinariness and openness. Dongdao extended this concept into our space design by using Chinese water-ink paintings and calligraphy and other Chinese elements.
