You most probably have heard about the famous Lucha Libre wrestlers from Mexico. But have you heard about the Lucha Libre wrestlers from Boliva? The sport is huge out there and now that women can participate, which was an exclusively men’s sport Bolivia is getting its deserved attention.

The Cholitas as they are called have received international recognition, many of them are wives and daughters of wrestlers. Once a week the women train hard so that they can fight ever Sunday with men in a group called Las Diosas del Ring (The Deities of the Ring) Photographer Daniele Tamagni took some amazing images of these women. Also worth checking out is the Mamachas del Ting trailer
