Beirut’s exhibition center received a visual identity where East meets West. The inspiration for the identity came from the building which distorts the surrounding environment though its corrugated reflective mirror facade. Lebanese-born, Brooklyn-based Mary Choueiter distorted both the Arabic and Latin alphabets to capture the architectures vision. With this project Choueiter is a runner-up for the Core77 Design Award 2011, Category Graphics/Branding/Identity.
