Singapore design agency Splash who we just featured in the CreativeRoots creatives directory has created this art exhibition catalogue for Tay Bak Chiang. The catalogue accompanies an exhibition of contemporary Chinese ink paintings entitled Between Breaths, as light as air, with ample white space and breathing room for contemplating the “scent of stones” and lotus “playgrounds filled with fun and memories” – as the artist puts it. The Chinese words hu <呼> and xi <吸>, respectively meaning ‘exhale’ and ‘inhale’, are hot-stamped on the front and back covers, placing the ink works ‘between breaths’.
