Creation of the Gandhi font

Posted by rod - 02.02.2011

Mahatma Gandi’s glasses where and are still a significance part of India and to Indians. In 1930’s Gandi gave away his glasses to an army colonel and said “these gave me vision to free India”. So a bunch of typographers from Leo Burnett got so inspired by these glasses and came up with a font that was inspired by them. The font is available for free download in both Devanagari and English. via kvpops. and thanks to @rachnadhall for tweeting me the links.

Finished here? Then have a look at these.
