The Samburu – Kenya

These images are absolutely beautiful, picturing the people of Samburu, Kenya. Photographed by Canadian photographer Lyle Owerko. According to Wikipedia the Samburu are a Nilotic people of north-central Kenya that are related to but distinct from the Maasai. The Samburu are semi-nomadic pastoralists who herd mainly cattle but also keep sheep, goats and camels. via another africa

Its not often these days that images stop you in your tracks and make you want to look closer. These definitely did for me. Well done Lyle they are simply beautiful
