The Paracas Textile: Half-human, half-animal creatures found on textile fragments are characteristic of an Andean culture that flourished in what is now Peru. Paracas textiles are now known as some of the finest ever produced by Pre-Columbian Andean societies, via brooklynmuseum.org and guardian.co.uk
