For the invitation of Olympic in 2016 to Tokyo, Awagami’s ‘Inbe’ is used for a booklet to submit to the Olympic bidding committee.
The set of booklets is made with 3 different individual books with a theme of “knot” and binded with a traditional Japanese style binding method, ‘Kikkou Toji’ ( ‘Kikkou’ literally means a carapace of turtle, as turtles are believed in as a figure of longevity and wealth. ‘Toji’ means binding.)
